TITLE

State of the art class Il and class III adolescent treatment: TAD-supported orthopaedic strategies.

 COURSE PROGRAM

For decades the use of extra-oral tractions, functional appliances, traditional rapid palatal expanders and facemask have represented the most common solutions for treatment of class I| and class III malocclusions in the growing patient. At present, the advent of TAD-based modern ortho-paedic strategies has completely changed our approach to the problem and opened a new frontier in treatment strategies.
Where are we now with these last generation protocols? The course will focus on modern orthopaedic procedures based on the combination of traditional appliances (Rapid palatal expanders, Herbst appliance, facemask) and TADS. Several clinical cases will be presented highlighting all the details of the diagnosis and the treatment, including a step-by-step description of the clinical protocols and appliance management.
